Ahhh too lazy to make this big ol' speech about my art, so lemme just copy+paste what I said about the piece from dA lol:

After a brush with an incredibly busy schedule mixed with art block, I'm finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel! Today I felt a surge of inspiration, something I hadn't felt in a long while.

I'm too unmotivated to open rl commissions, and then I noticed... I hardly have any waist up/full body samples anyways! On top of that, I have no solid coloring style. It fluctuates like crazy. I admire the soft+cell shading styles a lot, personally, and would love to get myself going in that direction.

For a while I was scared to try, because you see people complain at other artists or point out what's wrong or worse- what they don't like. Which can be completely subjective. But then I realized, how will I ever hit the god tier of what I want my style to be if I'm scared to even try? I like to consider this my first piece trying to seriously get better.

It's also my first background in a very, very long while. Sure it's simple, but it's the foot in the door! So here's to hoping I can get some consistency so my commissioners have something more reliable to look at!

Gosh, my artist comments always end up being confessionals, don't they? I always wonder who takes the time to read them, because many comments I get make it obvious they don't read at all! T___T;; Whoops. /always puts a big block of text???

The girl in this picture is Amalya, my OC! She's a little sheep shrine maiden. :> I haven't thought about her in a very long while! I kinda missed her. 

 * 7* Okay so we talked some more about the PKMN OCs!! Teehee! We decided Raidin and Maci have three children all together. Jack, the eldest. Van, who is from another story but is actually (unknowingly) "adopted," we decided it'd be fun if his real parents were Raidin and Maci. 

The last is this little girl, and the youngest PKMN OC of that story?! No name for her yet. :( I won't name her till Rieka names her rival, heh heh heh.

So anyways this is Noah, the lighter haired boy, Zane the dark black haired boy and Nia, the girl with the blood. They're from a legit happy story and we were messing around talking about putting them in this Battle Royale style AU, buuuut... they ended up really getting stuck in it lol. 

Nia is the very first death, she dies before even getting her weapon. She was used as an example of what the collars can do. You wouldn't believe how big an impact her death ended up having...

Himawari is a lot more athletic than she looks. An avid swimmer, she spends a lot of her time outdoors. She's actually pretty girly on top of that, and enjoys going shopping when she's not sticking to her swimming. 

This is a girl I haven't gotten to work too much on, I'm excited to try her out! Even if it is in such a bad AU, lol.

 

 Boy: Raeon. Weapon: tennis racket.

MY BABBBBBUUUUU RAEON. Okay this lil fucker got a tennis racket but I'd still be mildy worried. He's athletic and slick as fuck with his moves. He can dodge like a pro, but his downfall is that his hits aren't as powerful as they could be. If he had a knife or something, he'd be made. I guess he could smack you in the face with the racket. LOL. 

Girl: Saki. Weapon: magnum 

Okay I can finally explore Saki's crazy side lol. I'm pretty sure she's got a couple of screws loose that are kept in place well enough. But in a situation where it's kill or be killed, those screws are gone. She's alone, no group. And she's got a gun. It is confirmed she kills one student.I wonder which she took down...

One of the few boys to get a gun, and it would land in the hands of a scary guy. Zane's not a scary boy by any means, however his entire personality changes early on. Nia and Noah are also on this trip, however Nia was used as an example of what the collars can do. Essentially, she was killed in front of the class to show that none of it was a joke. Zane's not too easy to give forgiveness out, now. 

Aaaaand a wip of the next girl on my list! * 7* Ha ha, she looks so different with her hair down! Himawari, who doesn't get a lot of love, but this AU will change that! Will talk more about her when I get her done!

Boy #1: Mako. Weapon: keys+map to unknown object. 

Battle Royale AU GO-- ha ha. Mako is originally from Kimi and Hiro's story, but he got dragged into this AU! He's lazy and laid back to the max, but I wouldn't count him for dead. He's got a weapon that is totally useless- at least, unless he finds whatever that key is for, right? He's hoping it's a damn good weapon. 

Girl #1: Rina. Weapon: pick axe. 

Rina finds herself wrapped up in this AU, as well. However, her fate was already long decided by Rieka and I. Also, I just can't take her out of striped socks lol. THEY'RE JUST LIKE. A PART OF HER OKAY??? Also idk if she can lift that thing lol. In this AU, she's not dating Miles, but there's some obvious crushing going on in there.

Boy #2: Michi.Weapon: 3 metal stakes. 

Michi is one of the scarier people thrown into this AU. Here, his eye rings will most likely be contacts or a birth defect- lol dammit they're part of his character! I assume he's also still friends with Senna and Keitan, however he feels he can't guarantee anything to them, so he will tell them to run and avoid him. It's better that way. Loner for life, yeah?

Girl #2: Lunon. Weapon: taser. 

Heh heh Lunon's so boring sob. I'd say she's more average. Yes, she's like Rina in the sense of being timid and shy, but she's nowhere near her level and will defend herself if she needs to. It'll take some courage, but I don't see her freezing up the way Rina would. Lunon is accompanied by Levi in this AU, rather than Sedric or Rimo. She'll stick close to him!!

Boy #3: Tess. Weapon: throwing daggers.

Hoooooly shit when was the last time I drew Tess? One of my very first stories (second actually!) I ever made. In his own story, he's an experiment so he often goes in and out of being sweet and charming and psychotic. Even outside his own story, I see him being pretty cold hearted if the situation calls for it. And this is just that situation. 

Girl #3: Frida. Weapon: sub-machine gun.


LOL A scary girl would end up getting the gun! She'll be accompanied by Luke and Elliot from her story. Or as Rieka referred to them. Mama Bear, Papa Bear and then their son, Elliot lol.I tried to make her look like a tomboy. I think it worked. She's not a fan of skirts at all, though. >: 

Boy #4: Lucas. Weapon: kitchen knife. 


Meet one of the boys in the Geek Squad, as Rieka and I call them! Today he's sporting his PKMN pin, okay? Lucas' weapon out of the Geek Squad is probably the scariest one, considering it's a god damn knife. But I doubt he'll use it, he's definitely got more brains than brawn. They're gonna win by other means! Look to the generations before! 

Girl #4: Minami. Weapon: radio with headset.



Mina isn't a confrontational girl. She really wouldn't be able to hold her own very well- she's not much a fighter anyways. Her real abilities lie in her brain.Which is why she's the sole member of the Geek Squad. The radio can be tuned into any student and you can listen in on them.Which is probably how she found the group of boys in the first place. She'll be especially useful for gathering information and fitting into places the boys can't go.
