I'm so tired, argh!!!
Warm up doodle for today! ^ q^ Noah's bday passed on April 1, which is also the start of the zombie apocalypse!
I didn't get to draw him nothing on the actual day, so he'll have to deal with a late art gift, lols. ME @ AMBER: GIVE HIM A PART2 REF or I'll keep beating him up in his part1 ref clothes ahahaha.
ANYWAYS,
I FINALLY GOT THIS KID DONE, YES,
He's really subject to change as he's Ty's brother, and their family has a lot to do with their history and standing in the story!
But so far:
Jace is Ty's older brother. What you see before you isn't who he's always been. Before he resigned himself to his fate, he was a loving and fun older brother. As Ty and Jace grew up, Jace was quick to realize their family saw them as little more than pawns.
Growing up in a mafia family isn't easy- aiding in the control of territory, drugs, hitmen, heists, you name it, their family may have had a hand in it. And their family has rules to follow if you wish to become the head. It isn't automatically handed over to the next in line- you have to earn it. Thus, Jace and Ty began their training in, first and foremost, the art of killing.
Jace knew this wasn't the life he wanted- and definitely not the one Ty wanted. He'd take on more and more responsibilities to shield Ty away from having to begin his mafia life. For somebody has emotionally driven as Jace tho, he ended up having his heart broken and his way of thinking changed.
In the end, and where the story currently stands, Jace has acknowledged his title of the family's hound dog. He has taken on the task of mercilessly killing those who stand in his family's way, and earn his rightful throne as the head.
It does seem, however, that Jace hasn't fully conformed to his family's way of thinking. His manner of dressing and aesthetics still reflect a time when he and Ty were close- a bit flashy, a bit flamboyant. In this light, it would seem Jace is still saveable, and should Ty see that weak crack, he may be able to convince his brother to run away, too.
Jace's current task and status are unknown. It's obvious tho, that should he run into Ty, the plan is to kill him. Ty knows too much of the family and it's secrets. He could easily reveal weaknesses and information deemed too sensitive. Thus, Ty has made himself a cozy home in the top wanted targets in his own family's hit list.
