after that, i think i'll elaborate over each of my character's family and backstory? some will be up in the air and easy to change, like alys who is rhys' little sister (and very plot important, so we gotta agree)!
rn i got alys, kallik, yavin and elian to decide. elian is SUPER important, so i gotta really think about his backstory, bc it WILL come back for him. so he'll be last of this batch- further back more if I can squeeze out a couple more ocs, ahaha

alys is the younger sister to rhys (rieka's oc) and is yavin's cousin! alys is from the humble farming country, rich in flora and fauna. despite the fact that rhys and alys' parents aren't from the nature country, the two settled down and became devoted to the god. thus, rhys and alys were born there and raised to praise the nature god.
their family ended up securing one of the biggest temples, and have became a church family. alys is a dedicated priestess, while rhys... didn't quite make the cut. he's still devout, but his clumsiness made him less a priest and more of an errand boy.
yavin, on the other hand, was born in the land of light. a hardy people, who've made their homes in the treetops, using the natural foliage of their large trees to help shade them. yavin is years older than his younger cousins, so spent many, many months babysitting them. it's when he (accidentally) had his own daughter at 16 that he had to come less.
he'll meet the pair early on in the story, electing to be their chaperone as they try to save their god.

i think i wanna go back to how i used to do this blog! i treated it a lot like a diary, haha, and i low key miss that! so when i got time- like rn- i wanna ramble! * q*
firstly, i gotta get my friend a bday gift ahhhhhh!!! i've been mulling over options for her, i see her in like, a week or so! so i gotta pick smth soon! maybe i can ask rieka's bro if he wants to go shopping for his secret santa (ahahaha a late christmas party) and he can shop for them while i pick out a bday gift!? bc rieka works a lot this week.
secondly, i'm not as full of commissions as i thought i was?!?! I FELT RELIEVED!!
also working on a fantasy story with rieka! 2020 was crazy and we mostly redesigned old ocs- and only at the end did we make a new story! it's super based in reality tho, and we're missing fantasy stories... esp bc we play genshin now!!
we're taking a lot of elements from our other fantasy stories that we didn't use and combining it here! genshin made us realize we don't actually play with the concept of god for fantasy stories, so in honor of genshin, it'll be a god-based story! and in honor of venti i'm making me a pretty femboy god and nobody can stop me AHAHAHA
