"break it" is more of a symbol than anything else, i mean normally you wouldn't break something with a knife, would you? when aiyana kills charlotte is essentially where everything turns around for her? * q*)9 so ya, "break it" is more like her psyche?

"cast it away" is her throwing away her humanity. she does love and care about everybody, believe me! but for the way she thinks it has to go down to save everybody, she has to push everybody away to keep them safe. also, preparing to kill an 8 year old girl takes a lot mental prep lol.

"entwine within it" is another symbol, in it's own right? she developed a close connection to katsumi, who was, stupidly attached to her for no reason. she's clinging to those old feelings of being human, loving her friends, family. don't let it go.

"unwrap it" is hardly a symbol. after aiyana's done the deed, she removes charlotte's ribbon as a token of her loss. unwrapping the truth behind who charlotte really is, and peeling away the layers that make aiyana a human being.
