^^ i hope this year is a year of growth for me. no news is always good news, but i've been stagnant far too long, and no longer happy with simply floating where i am. both irl with my work, as well as (mostly) with my art. i hope to come back to drawing more often!
tho... there's a lot of games i still wanna play... and overwatch still has so much of my time... ahaha... //CRIES!!!
it was supposed to be my last drawing of 2017 to celebrate new year's eve, but it ended up being a late new year day piece lol.
so, first drawing of 2018! featuring, unsurprisingly, aubrey, but also whoa daichi.
i focus a lot on the negative impact he had on her life, but i know 100% there was a time life was really good and decent for both of them, together. tbh it's not really fair to say he just turned on her, it was a series of steps that other ppl did that affected those two.
so tbh other ppl kinda ruined their relationship even tho she never gave him up, he never really could recover and dragged her down? but by the time that had happened, they were 2 kids into their relationship, she knew there was nothing to gain after she loses him so why give him up? when they can try to work it out and ya TEARPLZ,
anyways, i imagine this is a happier time when she convinced him to take a selfie outside on new year's eve~ the selfie pic itself has obviously fake fireworks bc she put them on with her photo editing apps~
bc you aren't getting fireworks in the apoc, lol!
