tbh i think she's TOO dreamy, but i also think it's just a natural defense mechanism she created for herself? the past is grim, the future is bleak, so why not look up? it's limitless, free, vast, mysterious, and inspiring! it's always changing, sometimes calm, sometimes merciless.

and i wouldn't say SPACE per say is what i associate her with, it's the sky specifically! with her feet on the ground, but lost in the clouds?

demi no longer has any feelings since her cortia was broken. slowly over the years, since it wasn't fixed, she'd fading further and further, becoming much more doll like. ausoren personally tends to her every whim, and she's the only one that sees a different side to him.

too bad she can't really register feelings, bc she'd realize really quick she's special.

THEN WE WENT INTO CUTE THINGS!!!! as kids, zeke showed ayesha around his hometown, where he was hailed as a god for having powers. meanwhile, in her own hometown, she was called a demon for having powers. he wanted to show her how she should have been treated.

now that they get a second chance with AU Zeke, and as adults, she shows him something he never got to see that she did! ^^ a theme park!

his power is psychokinesis. so when she says she doubts he could hit the mark in a carnival game he wants to prove he can, without his powers. she holds his hand to sense if he uses his power, and he hits the mark with ease. he gets praise, she gets the prize she wanted most.

im sure she noticed she's still holding his hand, but decide not to say anything about it? he didn't pull away so??? it also makes them less likely to get split up in the crowd! really!! that's it!

SO LIKE A YEAR AND A HALF AGO I DREW ALL THE PAIRINGS IN THE FIRST PART OF THE STORY and it was a 12 yr old Ayesha kissing 14 yr old Zeke on the cheek saying "I really like you!" he had a more tsundere, surprised face while she had a very innocent, childish face.

NOW HERE THEY ARE, 16 AND 18, AND I HAD TO REDRAW THEM IN THE SAME POSE BC THEY GOT THEIR SECOND CHANCE. he came out more accepting of that kiss, this time

she also wanted to lean more on him as i found out

AND THEN THIS CAME ALONG LIKE CRIES INTO HANDS. zeke is learning about her world and i think she'd have fun pulling his leg from time to time! they're still young, so alister forbids them sleeping in the same room. so the two spend hours in front of the fireplace at night, just telling stories and talking.

so in those moments, she likes to have a little fun messing with him. ^^ eventually one of them will admit defeat and sleep, but i'm sure that's late in the night bc they're having too much fun.

here's grant, 4 years older, and he suddenly became a major chara. well, AU grant i should say. T___T since actual grant is dead.

#3 ended up being his official design. the grey is coming in, partly from age, partly from stress. just like ausoren, he really loves demi- tho as a daughter. he works tirelessly to recover her.

AND HERE'S GRANT'S OFFICIAL DESIGN i was like omg i might as well do it since he has a face?? he wears the uniform like the other elites SO IT WAS DECENTLY EASY ^ o^!!!
