Mio is a 24 year old robotic engineering genius. Born British-Japanese, she carries on her family's legacy of robotics genius and goes above and beyond the call of her name. Her family owns a large corporation (Cartwright Laboratories) specializing in anything robotic, though behind the scenes, often make unsavory deals to those they really shouldn't.
Mio has her own subdivision to work in peace, opting to turn her lab into part housing, so she never really has to leave anywhere to get back to work. The building is spacious and in a secluded area, a ways away from the main city. There, she works on any sort of job passed on to her. In the past, she's worked on robotic limbs, but has worked to invent devices (using, for example, magnetic force or even newly experimented on, anti-gravity energy) as well as full androids (her current project).
She's quite content living alone (though, that's not entirely true, considering she lives with the first android she ever created). While she is admittedly embarrassed to admit it aloud, she does live rather sloppily and messily- mostly in terms of the many fast food containers dirty rags she leaves around.
It's by chance and fate that she meets Ty, who she cautiously takes into her home as he's running for his life.
As of now, her many connections are mostly through her family company, mostly as clients. The good doctor and a major business corporation are just among the many she doesn't realize will become more involved in her life outside of business transactions.
As for her weapon, I haven't fully decided? It is more than likely a gun of some sorts, using any sort of invention she can manage to squeeze into it. It was probably used mostly as protection in the event somebody tried to break into her home/lab. She's actually quite a good shot, and a formidable opponent who despite never having been in a life or death fight, can hold her own and take a few shots before going down.
Aria is a young 20 year old, every bit as defiant and feisty as she looks. At 9 years old, she lost her only family- her mother and father. A man took pity on her, taking the girl in and adopting her in his family- despite the fact this was never documented legally, she wholeheartedly accepted and has come to see the man and his own family as hers.
What she hadn't counted on was being adopted by a family of bounty hunters- a decently common profession in this world. It was a profession she decided not to hide from, but join. Perhaps it was not wanting to be a burden, or hoping to prove to her new family not to abandon her for being useless, or maybe she just legitimately wanted to be a help, will never fully be known. What is known tho, is she's grown into the profession admirably.
Her family consists of a dad, older sister and older brother- herself being the youngest. Her elder sister usually being the brains of their operations stays behind closed doors, being the intelligence. This means she's often times doing the legwork with her dad and brother- tho more often than not, probably with her brother.
Unbeknownst to her, she has a twin sister running around. One who her family chose to gave up, as they couldn't afford both sisters. She'll eventually meet her, and how they decide to interact or connect is entirely up to the story.
Coming from a very poor family, she's quite good at scavenging. She can find odd pieces and put them together. It's rather graceless and unsophisticated, but it works and can be refined into a nicer object or meal. Currently little more than a hobby, and can probably make or fix small toys and devices.
As for her method of fighting, I'd love for her to have some sort of cybernetic/hologram hover board for one thing, as a method of mobility? One that she doesn't need to carry but can "create" out of what seems like thin air. For weapon, I'm thinking a simple pistol. She also has a survival knife concealed in the longer boot.
And the newest addition! Zander Vause!
A 31 year old man whose looking to put his past behind him. A loner with very little past known to others.
In the past he was a ruthless mercenary who took on hit man jobs more than anything else. The target didn't matter, nor did the origin of the dirty money he would take. With age, he softened it seemed, and deemed it necessary to turn over a new leaf.
He ran away from his old country, becoming a wanderer taking on odd jobs- jobs that weren't nefarious in nature. Over time, his tight-lipped nature diminished and he became like any other warm-hearted person. He especially enjoyed children, and while he had nothing to offer in the field of most scholastic education, he would teach them specialty trades he had picked up through his travels.
In a way, he became in part teacher, in part a confidant to many. Tho, due to his past, he made sure to keep himself in rural communities. Fisherman villages were often his favorites, as they had a tranquility he hardly knew. Plus, seafood is great, as he learned.
At first, he was on the move constantly, hardly forging any deep relationships. Over time however, he would stay in places he thought were safe longer and longer. It was during one of these stays he had met Ty, who also seemed to be on the run from his own past. The two became friends, though eventually Ty splintered off. They do remain on good terms, and one of the few close, deep relationships Zander has managed to make and keep.
Despite his push to leave his past behind, there are times he will not hesitate to use violence and even lead an enemy to their death. He no longer actively seeks the heat of the battle, but should it come to him, he won't hesitate to end it.
On that note, I'm not 100% sure what weapon to give him? I'm thinking some kind of chain and blade or blunt edge weapon? I'd love to give him bracers that when he flicks his wrist, a projectile will launch out, making him both quick and hard hitting.
