she is mammon's daughter from the time of zuna & takato's story. she bears blood from the witches as well as from etzal's now extinct race. she ages slowly, and acts much more immature than her power lets on. they decided she's roughly 14 years old, perfectly nestled between meri and azriel's kids.
this works out great, because selkie is adopted by bentley and ivrin, who have never quite left meri and azriel's side. the two couples have remained close, in fact even next door neighbors, meaning their children were raised together. qlavi is the eldest at 16 now, selkie at 14 and little sonata at 13. she's got a close relationship with both her fathers. ivrin is who she goes to for emotional support and when she wants to be heard. bentley is the fun dad, who she wants to hang out with because he'll let more things slide!!
