odessa's ref sheet!!! ^ 7^! a princess of the earthen nation. she's the last of four siblings and the only girl. their eldest brother became king and couldn't handle the power getting to his head. he became a tyrant- cruel and uncaring. he knows what he's doing is wrong- they know this bc their second eldest brother was found dead. it's clear the king feared his siblings would take his crown. why not kill them first?
in fear, the third brother ran away and went into hiding. he'd eventually be the proud father of four children, taking care of a church that was falling into disrepair. little would he realize that his children- rhys and alys- would be helping the gods. good karma, ya?
anyways, odessa is calculating and knows she can rely on good ol' misogyny to keep her alive. her brother likely doesn't think she's capable of overthrowing him, that she's not good enough to gain the crown. she instead pretends to be his friend so she can come and go as she pleases. she's been gathering intel and forces around the world, feeding new information to her hidden brother to keep him 1 step ahead of their king brother.
